CHIMNEY SWEEPING
Regular chimney sweeping is essential to remove soot and creosote which are products of combustion. Soot can build up to form a blockage and creosote is highly flammable. Sweeping will also clear blockages such as birds nests.

CCTV INSPECTIONS
The torch and mirror is still the most important tool of any good chimney sweep. However, there are times when we need to inspect the entire length of the flue. CCTV is often the only way of identifying obstructions. These obstructions could include creosote build up, fallen masonry, nesting material, damaged lining systems and building work.
BIRDS NEST REMOVAL
Jackdaws love nesting in chimneys! You may find twigs falling down your chimney or you may notice Jackdaw activity around the chimney pot. Jackdaw nests can fill the entire flue, they are an obstruction to the escape of combustion gasses and are highly flammable. After clearing a birds nest I check the full length of the flue with cctv equipment.
